International Conference on Mathematical and Computational Sciences (IC-MACS 2015) aims to bring together active researchers from various disciplines like Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering to showcase their state-of-the-art research results and hopefully to forge new cross-disciplinary interactions among them.  It is expected to provide a unique opportunity for in-depth technical discussions and exchange of ideas in mathematical and computational sciences.

The conference is planned to be organized in two tracks. Track 1 provides an opportunity to demonstrate the academic excellence in the areas of mathematical sciences. Contributions are expected from the following topics, but not limited to these:

  • PDE methods
  • Functional analysis
  • Inverse problems and applications
  • Operator theory
  • Graph theory and Combinatorics
  • Cryptography
  • Number theory
  • Numerical Analysis

The second track is mainly devoted for the researchers to explore various avenues of computing sciences. The contributions may be covering the following topics, but not limited to these:

  • Image, speech and video processing and analysis
  • Pattern recognition and analysis
  • Computer networks
  • Social networks
  • High performance computing
  • Signal processing
  • Data mining applications
  • Neural network applications
  • Computer graphics
  • Cloud computing
  • Software engineering

An accepted, registered and presented paper will be included in the proceedings of the conference and will be indexed in renowned databases. Further efforts are being made to publish the extended papers from the conference in internationally reputed and indexed journals.

Journal Publications for Selected and Extended Papers of IC-MACS 2015

Selected and extended papers from the Conference may be included (after the required review as per the guidelines given by the journal editorial and if the papers meet the journal criteria) in

  • the special issue on "Advances in Mathematical and Computational Sciences" which is being hosted by the International Journal of Computer Vision and Robotics (IJCVR), Inderscience Publishers.

  • Journal of Computers and Electrical Engineering, Elsevier.

Paper Submission

The conference committee expects well written unpublished full papers not exceeding 6 (six) pages in the prescribed format. Excess pages will be charged Rs. 2000/USD 50 per page. The submissions can be made only through the online submission tool.

All the authors/participants are required to register before 16th November 2014 with the amount specified in the table below.  The registration fee includes access to all technical programs,  a copy of the proceedings, conference kit, lunch, tea, snacks, etc.  Accommodation is not included in the registration fee.

Registration type Amount
Student authors Rs, 2,500/-
Authors from India Rs. 6,000/-
Authors from abroad USD 250/-
Participants (India/Abroad)

Rs 1000/- or USD 100/-

All the submitted papers are initially screened for possible plagiarism using online tools before being rigorously reviewed by two eminent experts from the area relevant to the paper. A double blind review process will be exercised. The papers are reviewed for technical merit, novelty and originality of the contribution and clarity in presentation. By submitting the paper to the conference, the authors thereby agree to observe the ethics in publication.
